LCDS Tvs tend to use less power compared to Plasma which is an environmental advantage to using the less power hungry televisions. Another advantage with Sony LCD TVs is they come in all sizes for those special rooms in your home, whether it is a 42 inch to a 50 - 60 inch. The Sony TV screen is also less reflective which makes it better for daytime viewing in rooms with lots of windows or a room with bright lighting for night viewing.

For those who use their Sony LCD for video games there is less chance of static image burning in and for those who use their TV for computers it is suggested that the1080p resolution is the best, as the higher resolution will let you see more content on screen with great clarity and finer detail.
